If you read carefully, you will see client had originally been facing severe charges
due to enhancement and strikes. Although client elected to take a plea, he was out
of prison in 4.5 years, a far cry from 20+ years, and there was no 85% time required
as the news reported. However, it is a fact that normally a gang charge where convicted
can end up with an 85% time.
Client has now obtained a good job successfully!
Congrats!!! This is not a typical result we might see in gang related cases,
but it was great for this client!!
